Instructions

Step 1

Call the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel" item. Expand the "Network and Sharing Center" link and use the "Change adapter settings" command on the left side of the application window. Call the context menu of the "Local Area Connection" element in the opened dialog box by right-clicking and selecting the "Properties" item.

Step 2

Uncheck the box next to Client for Microsoft Networks. Next, uncheck the "File and Printer Sharing Service for Microsoft Networks" checkbox. Finally, uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP / IPv6). Call the context menu of the line "Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP / IPv6) by right-clicking and selecting the" Properties "item.

Step 3

Go to the "General" tab in the new dialog box and apply the checkboxes in the "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" lines (in automatic connection mode). Confirm saving of the changes made by clicking OK.

Step 4

For manual connection mode, apply the checkbox in the "Use the following IP address" line and enter the required values in the appropriate fields of this section (the data is provided by the service provider). Then check the box next to "Use the following DNS server addresses and type 192.168.0.250 in the" Preferred DNS server "line. Leave the "Alternate DNS server" line blank and save the changes by clicking OK.

Step 5

If you have problems with logging into the local network, try expanding the main menu "Start" and specify the command "Log out". Confirm the execution of the selected action in the system request window that opens and re-enter under your account.
