A computer mouse is familiar to any user. And we don't even remember that instead of a mouse, you can use other gadgets to control your computer.
It should be noted that the use of the mouse in many programs is optional, since you can often remember the keyboard shortcuts for calling many functions (remember the famous ctrl + c, ctrl + v). Using the so-called hotkeys is convenient, but some functions will be very inconvenient to use. However, it is not a mouse that can be purchased, but devices that will successfully replace it. First of all, you can remember the following input options:
- trackball,
- Graphics tablet,
- touchpad in keyboard or separate.
A trackball is a ball on a stand that you spin to move the pointer on the screen. Anyone familiar with a mechanical (ball) mouse easily associates a trackball with such a ball mouse, with its base upside down. The trackball works exactly on the same principle as a mechanical mouse and its control does not require adaptation and special training.
A graphic tablet is made for the input of graphic information, for use by artists and designers in graphic editors. But you can use such a tablet instead of a regular mouse. The graphics tablet consists of a tablet that is sensitive to the touch of a special pen (looks like a plump ballpoint pen). It is quite convenient to use such a tablet in ordinary programs, where we usually use a mouse.
The touchpad (touch panel) is well known to computer owners. Today you can buy a touchpad that connects via USB to any computer. The most convenient option is the touchpad built into the wireless keyboard. With such a keyboard, it is very comfortable not only at the computer, but also in front of a smart TV.
Useful tip: try different input devices in the store, then you will definitely understand which device is more convenient for you.
It is interesting that today you can find original hybrids from the above-described devices, for example, a mouse with a trackball, which can also be convenient when used in separate programs.
