Instructions
Step 1
Download a program to change subtitle settings. You can select a program by entering a query into a search engine in your browser, after which it will give you a list of links to the software you need. Choose among them the one that suits you best. Almost all of them work on the same principle. One of the most popular programs among Aegisub users, which has advanced functionality in editing and creating subtitles for videos. You can download it from the developer blog
Step 2
After downloading the program, install it on your computer. Read the interface carefully and open the file with your subtitles, the color of which you want to change. Please note that if you are using the Aegisub program, then you need a minimum knowledge of English to perform the operation with them.
Step 3
Open the file with your subtitles using the program menu. In the editing functions, change their color as you see fit. Note that you can also change the font, size, slant, add underline options, and so on. Save your changes.
Step 4
Change the color of the subtitles in the player in which you usually watch videos. Typically, this setting is found in the playback or appearance options. Here you can also change their position on the screen, change the scale or completely remove them.
Step 5
You can also combine subtitles with video recordings, making a single file from them. This is done using conventional subtitling software. Change the caption font color, slant, size, and so on, and select the mode to combine subtitles with video. After that, they cannot be edited, and the color cannot be changed to another.
