Graphic files obtained from the Internet by copying or downloading may contain a virus. Therefore, almost any computer, especially the one on which an antivirus is installed, automatically blocks such pictures and photos in order to avoid infection. As a result, the file may not open. If you are sure that the file is not dangerous, remove the lock.
Necessary
- Computer with internet connection;
- Graphic file (photo).
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the folder where the photo was uploaded. Select it by clicking the left mouse button. You can also select from the keyboard, using the arrow keys and “Shift”.
Press the right mouse button or the pop-up menu button on your keyboard (to the right of the right “Alt”). Select Properties from the menu.
Step 2
In the "General" tab, find information about blocking a file and a checkmark in the "Block file" field. Uncheck the box, save the settings, close the menu. The photo can now be opened.
