The intensive development of computer and network technologies has led to the fact that a large number of people have the opportunity to communicate not only with compatriots, but also with speakers of other languages. And since it is necessary to communicate mainly in languages based on the Latin alphabet, then switching the text input language is now quite often necessary not only for all sorts of writers, but also for non-professional computer users.
Instructions
Step 1
Use "hot keys" - this is the name of individual buttons or their combinations, the pressing of which is reserved in the operating system for a particular operation. Changing the input language usually corresponds to a combination of the alt="Image" and Shift keys, although another option is possible - using the built-in Windows OS components, it can be changed to Ctrl + Shift. If another tweaker program was used, then it cannot be excluded that with its help some other combination is involved in your computer.
Step 2
Activate the language bar if you want to switch input from Cyrillic to Latin using the mouse pointer. It is a separate component of the Windows graphical interface that can either be placed on the taskbar, or placed in the form of a small rectangular window in any place on the screen that is convenient for you. This window will always be placed on top of open windows. To enable it, right-click an empty space on the taskbar, open the "Toolbars" section in the drop-down context menu and select the "Language bar" line.
Step 3
In Windows 7 you will not find this item, so proceed through the search field in the main OS menu - enter the word "language" into it, and in the table with the search results, click the link "Change interface language". A window for setting the language and regional standards will start, where on the "Languages and keyboards" tab you need to click the "Change keyboard" button. In the next window, go to the "Language bar" tab and put a checkmark in the first ("Arranges anywhere") or second ("Docked in the taskbar") lines. There are also three more checkboxes with which you can set the transparency of this panel, its duplication on the taskbar and in the notification area (in the "tray"). Then click the OK button and the procedure will be completed.
Step 4
If you often have to type texts with both Cyrillic and Latin fonts, then install any of the programs that automatically recognize the input language and switch it without your participation. For example, it can be the Punto Swither application (https://punto.yandex.ru/win).
