Most personal computer users use the standard set of codecs from the K-Lite Codec Pack. This set of codecs includes the Media Player Classic. To watch a movie through this player, you must launch the program. Then click the File menu, select the Open item. In the window that opens, find the movie you want to watch, then click "Open". If you encounter problems while watching a movie, related to poor display of the picture (the image may not appear on the screen), it is worth updating the set of codecs.

If the codec update does not work or they have not been installed, you can use the KMPlayer. The versatility of this player lies in the fact that it contains the necessary set of codecs, and if problems arise in playing a movie, it sets up an Internet connection and downloads the necessary codec to your computer. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + O to open the file. In the window that opens, find the movie you want to watch, then click "Open".
