The compass is used in CAD systems for construction. The ability to insert a drawing into the program will make your life easier and help speed up the work process.

Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to insert an image into a program is to copy it directly. To do this, open your drawing using the paint editor. Then, in the main menu, go to the "Edit" section, and then click the "Select All" tab. Copy the image. To do this, right-click on the picture, then the "Copy" tab.
Step 2
After you copy the image, open the Compass program. Press the right mouse button, then click on the "Insert" tab. Your picture will appear in the dialog box.
Step 3
There is an alternative option. Directly in the program itself on the main panel, use the "Insert" section. An additional list of commands will open in front of you. Among them, select "Insert Image (Picture or Animation)". The program will prompt you to select a file from the collection or download it directly from your computer.
Step 4
In the window that opens, click "Upload Image". Select the image that is on your computer and click "OK". After that, the picture will open in the program, and you can work with it.
