Step 1
To connect a satellite receiver to a computer, you need to remember that it is better to connect the receiver as a second computer in an existing local network than through a direct connection. The first step is to connect the host computer to the Internet and set up a local network using a switch device.
Step 2
Connect the receiver to the switch with a twisted pair cable, and then the switch to the computer. Turn on the TV and go to the "Settings" section. Find Network Setting and enable DHCP to get an IP address. Write down the IP address somewhere.
Step 3
Install Total Commander on your computer or run it if it is already installed on your computer. In Total Commander, in the URL bar, paste the recorded IP address. Then come up with a name for your connection and click on the "Connect" function. Enter the username and password you have thought up in advance.
Step 4
Go to the var-keys folder, where all settings for the connected receiver are saved. You can also change these settings later using the Total Commander program. The basic receiver settings are located in the softcam.key file.
Step 5
The newcamd.list file contains the card-sharing settings data. The card-sharing function is provided in the technology of most receivers. It gives users access to the original map of any coded TV channel package. Open the newcamd.list file with a regular text editor and fill in the information sent by the provider. Then set the required number of ports of the IP address to which you want to connect and reboot the receiver emulator.
