Dynamic memory is an economical form of RAM. Several problems are solved at once thanks to a certain scheme for constructing a dynamic memory module. These elements are very compact, and their production does not require large financial costs. The disadvantages of these modules include the slow speed of their work, due to several factors at once.

Static memory has a much higher processing speed. It is commonly used in central processing units. Its volume, as a rule, is relatively small, but it is quite sufficient to process the required information flow.

Dynamic RAM cards are divided into several types: DIMM, DDR1, 2 and 3. They all have specific channels for connecting to the motherboard, which prevents the possibility of installing the wrong module.
