The Microsoft Windows 7 operating system has quite flexible settings for most of the display parameters of the selected object. Window transparency is one of them, and the use of some specialized applications significantly expands the set of functionality for changing the appearance of the system.

Instructions
Step 1
Call the context menu by clicking the right mouse button on an empty space of the desktop and go to the item "Personalize" to perform the operation of disabling the transparency of windows.
Step 2
Select Window Color and Appearance and choose a window color from the suggested swatches at the top of the screen.
Step 3
Click the Show color mixer button to customize the color of the windows using the color sliders that appear.
Step 4
Use the Color intesity slider to manually adjust the transparency of the window borders. The extreme left position of the slider provides maximum transparency, the extreme right - the maximum intensity of the selected color.
Step 5
Deselect the Enable Transparency check box to completely turn off window transparency.
Step 6
Download and unpack the archive with the HideBlur application to simplify the editing of the window transparency parameter.
Step 7
Run the Patch Blur x86.bat file (or Patch Blur x64.bat for a 64-bit operating system) to remove the matte effect.
Step 8
Use the Enable Blur.bat file to remove the window transparency effect, or select Unpatch Blur.bat to restore the previous visual system settings.
Step 9
Restart your computer to apply the selected changes.
Step 10
Select the Glass2k utility to control the transparency effect of windows from your computer keyboard.
Step 11
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + 1 to set the windows to maximum transparency, or simultaneously press Ctrl + Shift + 0 to turn off the transparency effect. The transparency level of the windows is selected in the range from 0 to 9, and the selected value is saved in the system memory and used on reboot.
