The effect of transparency of window frames is an integral part of the improved interface of the Microsoft Windows operating system, implemented in Windows 7. Enabling the selected effect belongs to the category of standard actions and can be performed using the standard tools of the system itself.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system and go to the "Control Panel" item to initiate the procedure for enabling the window frame transparency effect in Windows Aero.

Select "Appearance and Personalization" and select the "Personalize" command.
Step 3
Expand the Window Color and Appearance node and define the desired color scheme.

Apply the checkbox to the "Enable transparency" field and click the Ok button to apply the selected changes.

Check the installation of the necessary video card drivers if Windows Aero cannot be turned on and open the context menu of the "My Computer" item by right-clicking the mouse to perform the Windows Performance Index (WEI) update operation.

Select Properties and expand the Performance Information and Tools link on the left side of the Properties window.

Click the Re-run the assessment button to confirm the execution of the command. This action will recalculate the index and automatically enable the Aero effect.
An alternative way to perform the WEI update operation is to return to the main menu "Start" and go to the "Run" item. Enter cmd in the Open field and click OK to confirm that the Command Prompt tool is launched. type winsat formal in the utility text box and press Enter.

Return to the main Start menu again and go to Run to enable the transparency effect using the Registry Editor tool.

Enter regedit in the Open field and click OK to confirm the run command.

Expand the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Windows / DWM and create the following parameters with values:
- UseMachineCheck = 0;
- Blur = 0;
- Animations = 0.
Step 11
Exit Registry Editor and return to the main Start menu.

Go to Run and enter cmd in the Open field.

Press the OK button and open the context menu of the command line by clicking the right mouse button.

Specify Run as administrator and enter Net Stop uxsms in the command prompt text box.

Press Enter and enter the following Net Srart uxsms value. Press the Enter key.

Call the desktop context menu with the right mouse button and select the "Personalization" command.

Use the "Colors" item to select the desired decoration effects.
