Step 2
We set a password. The password for the above actions can be done in two ways: during the installation of the application and after installation. Assign a password after the installation of the application.
After the installation of the program is completed, the initial setup wizard will automatically start. At the “Protecting the application with a password” stage, you can assign a password in order to exclude unauthorized attempts to disable server protection and change its settings by malware or other users who have access to the file server. To do this, check the box next to the option "Enable administrator password protection", enter the password. Then enter it again - this is necessary to confirm it. Choose which of the above four actions you want to apply the password to and click the "Next" button. Password protection will automatically turn on immediately after the installation wizard finishes its work.
Step 3
Assign a password while using the program. You can assign a password from the main program window after the installation process is complete. This can be done as follows.
1. Open the main application window.
2. In the upper right corner of the window, click on the "Settings" button.
3. In the "Settings" window, click on the "Password" section.
4. Check the box next to the "Enable password protection" option.
5. In the "New Password" field, assign a password.
6. In the "Confirm Password" field, enter the password again.
7. Select the checkboxes in the Password Scope submenu for the actions for which you would like to assign an access password. Save the settings. To do this, click the "OK" button and close the main program window.
