Watermarks in the graphics editor Adobe Photoshop can be made separately, saved, and then reused. The procedure for creating two types of marks and applying them to the finished image is described below.
Necessary
Graphic editor Adobe Photoshop
Instructions
Step 1
Create a new document by pressing the key combination CTRL + N. In the dialog specify the file name, "Watermark" is fine. Specify the width and height of the document here with a margin. In the Background Contents list, select Transparent and click OK.
Step 2
The simplest type of watermark is text, although it can also be an image. Select the Horizontal Type tool, press the T key, then press the D key to select black for the text. Click on the document and enter the text for the watermark.
Step 3
Double-click the left mouse button on the text layer and in the opened style settings window, select the item "Shadow". On the settings tab, you can select the size, color, indent from the text, transparency, etc. Then click "OK".
Step 4
Expand the "Image" section in the menu, select "Trimming", make sure that the box is checked in the box "transparent pixels" and click "OK". The editor will resize the document to the size of your watermark.
Step 5
Above the text layer, click the Fill drop-down list and move the slider to zero. As a result, only a shadow will remain from the inscription.
Step 6
Save your ready-to-use character: press CTRL + S and click Save.
Step 7
You have prepared a single "watermark" - it will place one caption per image. Now create one that you can tile the whole image with. In this case, it is better to use an oblique label. Undo the last few steps: open the History tab and click the line that says Shadow. The size of the document will return to its original size.
Step 8
Turn on the transformation mode of the caption: press CTRL + T. Move the cursor outside the selected area, press the left mouse button and, without releasing it, move the cursor around the caption counterclockwise. When the tilt angle is sufficient, release the button and press Enter.
Step 9
Repeat the bleaching and cropping operations described in the third and fourth steps again.
Step 10
Transform the finished sign into a "pattern" - open the "Editing" section in the menu, select the "Define pattern" item, specify its name and click "OK".
Step 11
You now have two kinds of watermarks. If you want to insert a single character into an image, open the image, expand the File section of the menu, and click Place. In the file selection window, click the Watermark.psd you created and click Place.
Step 12
The sign will be placed in the center of the image, drag it with the mouse to the desired location. You can change the dimensions: while holding down the SHIFT key, drag the corner points of the selected area with the mouse. Then press Enter and this is the end of the watermark insertion operation.
Step 13
To watermark the entire image, instead of the last two steps, create a copy of the image layer, double-click and check the Overlay Pattern checkbox. On the pattern settings tab, open the Pattern drop-down list and select the one you created.
Step 14
It remains to save the image with a watermark. Press the key combination alt="Image" + SHIFT + CTRL + S, select the format and quality of the saved image, click the "Save" button, and in the next window "Save" again.
