Many people who deal with the Internet have experienced plagiarism. Someone faced theft of articles, someone with theft of pictures. And in both cases, someone else's work was passed off as their own. Of course, today authorship can be challenged in court, but no one wants to waste their precious time. The best way out of the situation, for example, with images, would be to place author's inscriptions on a photograph or other image - watermarks (or watermarks).

Instructions

Step 1

This can be done using the Photoshop program, but this requires being able to work with this program. There is also a special software focused on working with watermarks. Such programs include Photo Watermark Professional, Easy Batch Watermark, Visual Watermark, Watermark Factory and others. Let's analyze the order of imposition of a watermark using the example of the first of the listed ones.

Step 2

Run the program. The navigation bar is located here at the top of the window that opens. Go to the "Folders" menu and select a folder with images. Below, in the form of a filmstrip, you will see all your photos.

Step 3

At the top of the panel is the Properties tab. Write the text of the watermark of your choice below, in the window. It is this inscription that will be located on the selected picture.

Step 4

On the right near the letter "T" there is an arrow, clicking on which you will see an interesting menu. If your photos were filmed with a camcorder or digital camera, after clicking on the tabs of this menu, the properties of this or that photo will be displayed as a watermark: date of shooting, photo size, index, manufacturer, and more.

Step 5

Optionally, you can add a photo frame by going to the tab called "Frame".

Step 6

Now go to the main menu, where it is worth taking apart a few basic functions. You can familiarize yourself with the rest of them later. You can change the angle of the caption on the photo, the type and size of the watermark font, as well as its color and transparency. To keep the watermarks less visible, the opacity can be set to 45%. So they will not only not interfere with the normal perception of the image, but also will not get lost against the background of the picture.

Step 7

Next, click on the button in the form of a floppy disk and save the modified image to any folder you want.
