To watch a good quality movie on a DVD player, you need to burn it to disc. For one-time burning of a DVD-R disc, use the standard Windows burning software or dedicated software.

Blank DVD
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, you need to find out detailed information about your drive. To burn any DVD, your computer must be equipped with a DVD-RW marked drive. This mark can be found not only in the My Computer window when the drive tray is empty, but also on the front cover of the tray itself. In some cases, this inscription may be hidden under a sticker with the logo of the manufacturer or the company that assembled the system unit.
Step 2
There is another way to check if the DVD burning function is present in your drive. Insert a blank (blank) disk, wait until it spins up and its contents are read by the system. Then open My Computer again, right-click on the drive icon and view the context menu. If it contains the inscription "Writing files to disc", then the drive writes discs of this format.
Step 3
Depending on the drive model, it can burn different disc formats such as DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD-RW and DVD-R. If your drive supports all of the above formats, select any disc in the store that needs to be at least the "total weight" of the DVD files on your hard drive.
Step 4
It is recommended to use special utilities as a recording program, but for one-time recording, the standard Windows recording program is quite suitable. While DVD burning was not technically supported in Windows XP yet, in recent versions this operation can already be performed, and in just a few minutes. For recording multisession discs, the standard Windows program is no longer suitable, because can completely overwrite a disc with important information.
Step 5
After burning a disc, the drive tray will automatically slide out of the drive. Pull out the disc and insert it into the DVD player that is connected to the TV.
