Step 1
If you do not have a software disc for your modem, go to the manufacturer's official website. In the "Support" or "Downloads" section, find your modem model, select the version of the operating system (XP, Vista, 7) installed on your computer and download the latest driver.
Step 2
Now right click on the My Computer icon, select System Properties or System and go to the Hardware tab. Click the "Device Manager" button and you will see a list of all installed equipment. Find your modem and right-click on it and select Properties. On the Driver tab, click the Update button. The Add New Hardware Wizard will start.
Step 3
If you have from a disk with the driver, then select the installation from the disk, if not, then specify the path to the file that you downloaded. After that, the modem driver will be installed, and the system will notify that the device is ready for operation.
