Instructions
Step 1
Connect a Canon printer to your personal computer. To do this, use a USB to USB B cable. Turn on the computer and wait for the operating system to load.

Now connect the printer to AC power and turn on the printing device. Wait until the initialization of the new hardware is complete. Open any internet browser and go to www.canon.ru. Select the Driver Catalog field located under the Support category.

After a while, you will be prompted to fill in the table. In the Product category, select Printer and select the model of your printing device. Be sure to enter the correct operating system name.

Select the Printer Drivers field and activate the I accept the terms of the license agreement. Click the Download button and wait while the selected files are downloaded to your computer's hard drive.
Step 5
Start Windows Explorer and open the directory where the Internet browser saved the files. Look at the type of drivers. If you downloaded the application file, start it by double-clicking it with the left mouse button.
Step 6
After starting the installer, follow the step-by-step menu to complete the correct installation of the application. Make sure the procedure ran smoothly.
Step 7
If you downloaded an archive of files, unpack it into a separate directory. Open the start menu. Go to the "Devices and Printers" category. Wait for the icon of the printing device to appear in the launched menu.
Step 8
Double-click on it with the left mouse button and select the "Equipment" tab. Now go to the "Properties" category and click the "Update" button in the "Drivers" field. Select manual file installation mode.
Step 9
Specify the directory where you unpacked the files from the downloaded archive. Wait until the update of the working files of the printing device is completed. Restart your computer and check if the printer is working.
