Step 1
Find out the exact model of your printer before starting to search for drivers. Usually this information can be found on the body of the device. Note the additional prefixes that may be present on some Canon printers and MFPs.

Now connect the printing device to your personal computer. Turn on your PC and printer. Let the operating system detect new hardware. After completing this procedure, launch an Internet browser and open the canon.ru website. Open the "Support" category.

In the left column, select Driver Download and follow the link of the same name. Wait for the new window to start. Fill out the table located in the For You category. Select your country (Russia) and select the product model. Now download the software using the version that is compatible with your operating system.
Step 4
Run the application file after it has finished downloading to your hard drive. Follow the step-by-step menu of the installer application. Make sure the installation procedure runs smoothly and without errors.
Step 5
Turn the printer off and on again. Run the installed software. If the Application does not open or the printing device is not detected, restart your computer.
Step 6
After the operating system has loaded, run the printer management software again. Configure the operating parameters of this device. In rare cases, you will need to add a new printing device yourself to the list of available printers. This usually applies to equipment operating over wireless channels.
