Unfortunately, the installation of the operating system does not end with the configuration of the computer required for its stable operation. Most often, you have to install drivers for some hardware.
Necessary
internet access, Sam Drivers
Instructions
Step 1
The first thing you should do is take advantage of the driver finder built into the operating system. Open the "Start" menu and go to the properties of the item "My Computer". Open Device Manager. Examine the list of all installed hardware and find the sound card there. Because there is no suitable driver installed for it, it will be marked with a special sign.
Step 2
Right-click on the name of the sound adapter. Select Update Drivers. In the next window, click on the option "Search automatically for updated drivers." If the required driver is found, then click the "Install" button, if not, continue.
Step 3
The second option for determining a driver is to independently search for it. Find out your sound card model. It is usually written on the board itself. Enter this model into the search engine and add the words "driver download". Explore the suggested options and download the required driver package. Be careful not to upload questionable files.
Step 4
Sometimes a manual search doesn't pay off. In such situations, it is customary to use special programs. They represent a huge database of drivers. An example of such a utility is Sam Drivers.
Step 5
Download this program and run it. Better to use the Runthis.exe file. In the window that appears, go to the item "Installing drivers". The program will automatically scan your computer's devices and analyze the installed drivers.
Step 6
Select the driver packages you would like to install, such as Sound Others. Click the Install Now button. Reboot your computer after finishing the driver installation. Be careful when using programs like this. A situation may arise in which installing an unverified driver will result in hardware failure.
