Despite the fact that it is not in the traditional tools of the operating system, there are simple ways to convert a flash drive to NTFS.
Instructions
Step 1
Carefully choose a device for converting a flash drive, so that, inadvertently, you do not convert any other removable disk.
Step 2
Before you start converting, copy the data that the flash drive contains to your computer's hard drive.
Step 3
In case you use a flash drive as a boot device, do not convert it.
Step 4
If you are using Windows 98 operating system, do not convert the flash drive either.

To start converting, right-click on the "My Computer" icon, in the menu that opens, select the "Properties" tab.

The System Properties dialog box opens, select the Hardware tab and then Device Manager.
