The use of a text editor Word makes working with documents simple and enjoyable. For example, it is not difficult to change the already typed text without retyping it.
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to replace a word in the text, you should move the cursor over this word and select it by double-clicking the left mouse button. After that, instead of the highlighted word, you can type in what you need. If you just need to delete a word, then after selecting it with the mouse, press the space bar.
Step 2
Do the same if you need to delete or change a part of the text, only in this case, the necessary paragraph or its fragment is selected by hovering over it and holding the left mouse button down until all the text to be replaced is selected. Next, the necessary is imprinted or the unnecessary is deleted.
Step 3
By following the above technique, you can not only type new text, but also make other changes to the text or parts of it. In this case, having selected the necessary fragment with the mouse, as described above, press the right mouse button. As a result, a window opens on the screen in which you can select the actions that you want to perform with this part of the text. You can delete it, copy it to the clipboard, change the font size and style, convert the snippet to a bulleted or numbered list, and more.
Step 4
To insert a previously copied fragment into the text, you need to place the cursor in the place where you want to place a bet, press the right mouse button and select the "paste" tab in the menu that opens.
Step 5
If you need to replace some of the letters of the text with capital letters, you do not need to print the text again. It is enough to select the desired fragment with the left mouse button, then on the toolbar at the top (on the "Main" tab) find the "Register" button (it shows a side by side capital and uppercase letters) and select "All uppercase" in the drop-down list.
Step 6
In addition, using this list, you can select other functions, for example, "Start With Uppercase" - in this case, all printed words will begin with uppercase letters, or "Change case" - in this case, the case of all letters of the selected fragment will be changed, uppercase will become lowercase, and vice versa. If you select "As in sentences", the first letters of the selected sentences will be capitalized. Selecting the "All Lowercase" function will make all letters in the selection lowercase.
Step 7
If the text is imprinted in the table, you can change its direction by selecting with the left mouse button the text in one or several cells, and then, by pressing the right mouse button, select the "Text direction" item in the context menu and indicate the required direction: from bottom to top, from top down or left to right.
