Computer graphics are developing at a rapid pace. On the network now you can find a large number of various and unusual pictures, photographs and drawings, the impressions of which remain, as well as from real works of art seen in an art gallery. And sometimes such an effect from a picture is achieved not only thanks to the original composition or plot, but also to the font used.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to determine the font of the lettering you like in the picture, you can use the What The Font Internet service. To go to it, enter a query with the name of the resource in the search box and click the search button. You can also go to the page of this web resource by typing in the address bar of your browser the URL: https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/, then press the Enter key.
Step 2
Once on the main page of "What The Font", you will have to upload your favorite picture to the resource. You can do this by selecting a picture from your computer or by copying its URL into the appropriate line. In the first case, click on the "Browse" button, which is located next to the input field and the inscription "Upload a file", find the desired picture on your computer and click "Open". In the second case, move the cursor to the image you like, right-click and select in the drop-down list the item “Copy image URL” (“Copy image URL” or “Copy link to image”), then return to the resource page What The Font and paste copied address into Specify a URL field.
Step 3
When uploading logos or pictures with text for more accurate font recognition by the system, you must adhere to the following rules: - you must upload files with a resolution of no more than 360x275 pixels; - the formats of uploaded images can be the following: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF; - the larger the font on the downloaded the picture, the faster and more accurately the system will determine it; - it is desirable to upload black and white photographs, although the resource works successfully with color images.
Step 4
As soon as the picture is loaded, you will need to click on the green arrow labeled Continue. Then you will find yourself on a page where the system will try to recognize all the letters of the inscription. If, for some reason, the system did not identify all the characters or recognized some with an error, then it's okay, just enter these letters in the appropriate cells. Please note that only characters that are clearly visible should be entered. It is better to skip translucent ones, otherwise the system will not be able to correctly detect the font.
Step 5
After all the above actions have been done, again click on the green arrow with the inscription Сontinue. Now the resource will move you to the page with the result. On the right side you will see the name of the font, and on the left side you will see a list of similar fonts.
