Necessary
A licensed copy of Dr. Web
Instructions
Step 1
To add the key file to the system, start the administrative mode of the application. To do this, right-click on the utility icon in the Windows tray, which is located in the lower right corner of the system window. Select "Administrative Mode" from the list of suggested options. Allow the utility to enter the appropriate parameters by pressing the "Allow" button.
Step 2
Click again on the application icon in the system tray and click "Tools" - "License Managers". In the window that appears, click the button on the item "Get a new license" and select the option "Specify the path to the file on disk". Check the folder where the key file is located to confirm the authenticity of the program license.
Step 3
In the "License Manager" window, select the newly added file using the drop-down list. Then restart the program to apply the changes. Installing the Dr. Web is complete.
Step 4
To remove the old key, go to the "License Manager". In the line "Current license" specify the old data that you want to remove from the utility. Click on the "Delete current license" button located in the lower right corner of the program. Restart the utility to apply the changes.
Step 5
It happens that the program imported several keys that have already been used in the program. To select a specific one, go to the "License Manager" again. In the resulting list, specify the parameter you want to use. Based on the activation date and expiration time of the license you are using, you can choose the appropriate value on your computer.
