If you have NOD32 antivirus software installed, you may have noticed that sometimes it quarantines a file that is free of viruses. How can the problem be solved? Of course, you can uninstall the antivirus and then install it again. But the solution is not very good, if not to say that it is completely inconvenient. It is best to turn off NOD32 for a while.

Step 1
There are several ways to disable this antivirus program. The first way. Find the NOD32 icon in the tray. Right-click on this icon and select "Open Window" in the context menu. In the window that appears, select the "Settings" section. Further on the right side of the program window, click on "Virus and Spyware Protection".
Step 2
In the window that appears, click on "Temporarily disable virus and spyware protection". Next, in the dialog box that appears, click "Yes". After that, the antivirus will be disabled and inactive. To enable it, select "Enable antivirus and antispyware protection" in the same menu.
Step 3
There is another way to disable NOD32. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete or Ctrl + Shift + Esc on the keyboard. The task manager will start. In it you need to select the "Processes" tab. In the window that appears, there will be a list of all active processes. Click the "Description" line. There will be the names of the processes.
Step 4
Find the process called ESET GUI. Right-click on it and select "End Process" in the context menu. Repeat the same procedure for the process called ESET Service. After that, the antivirus will be disabled. It will start automatically the next time you turn on your computer.
Step 5
Another way to disable NOD32 looks like this. Click Start. Then select "All Programs" - "Standard" - "Command Line". At the command prompt, enter Msconfig. Hit Enter. The System Configuration window will open. Go to the "Startup" tab.
Step 6
Find ESET in the list of programs. Uncheck the box next to the program. Click "Apply" and OK. Reboot your computer. The antivirus will not start. In order to return it to the system autostart, just check the box back.
