Sometimes the user has a need to disable the Punto Switcher program during work. Such a need may be associated with entering a large number of character combinations - for example, passwords. Or with a game where you plan to actively use the keyboard. And also with the passage of training programs for touch typing like "Solo on the keyboard" - in it, when the Switcher is running, there is a problem associated with displaying another character when the correct key is pressed, which is counted by the program as an error.

Punto Switcher software
Instructions
Step 1
Find the Punto Switcher icon in the lower right corner of your desktop. Depending on the settings of the program, it will look either as a flag or as a designation of the current language - Ru or En.
Step 2
Right-click on this icon to bring up a drop-down list. In it, select the Auto switch item, and uncheck it by clicking the left button. The color of the application icon will turn gray, and the program will not automatically switch between layouts. The same action can be done in another way - left-click on the icon, and in the short drop-down list select the same item - Auto-switch. Finally, you can simply exit Switcher - for this, in the drop-down list that appears after right-clicking on the icon, you need to select Exit and click on it.
Step 3
You can start the program again using a shortcut; you should enable the auto-switching feature by clicking again on the menu item of the same name.
Step 4
Sometimes the application icon is not displayed. In this case:
-Use the keyboard shortcut Alt, Ctrl and Del to bring up the computer lock menu instead of the desktop. Select the "Task Manager" item in it and left-click on it.
-Click on the "Processes" tab, which will be located in the working window of the "Task Manager".
-Find the ps.exe process in this tab. Right-click on it to open the context menu and select the End process item in it.
Instead of the last action, you can also select a process by clicking the left button, and click on the "End Process" button located in the right corner of the lower part of the manager window. The application will be disabled.
Step 5
In some cases, you will need to click "End Process" several times until the Punto Switcher is finished and its name disappears from the list of processes.
