Instructions

Step 1

Quite often it happens that when working with a large number of windows, a program freezes. The reason for this condition is rather difficult to find out, but it is much easier to unload if you use special software. To accomplish this task, the Windows operating systems include the Task Manager utility.

Step 2

This program can be called in several ways. Press the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + alt="Image" + Delete or Ctrl (left) + Shift (left) + Esc. The utility can also be launched through the context menu of the taskbar. Right-click on it and select the item of the same name.

Step 3

You will see a window with an open "Applications" tab. Here you need to select the hung application, opposite which there will be a mark "Not responding", and select "Go to processes" in the context menu. The context menu is invoked by right-clicking.

Step 4

On the "Processes" tab, the desired item will already be highlighted, it remains to right-click and select "End Process". In the confirmation window that appears, answer yes. The program will automatically close. Try to run it again, if the picture does not change, it is advisable to reinstall the program, i.e. uninstall and then reinstall.

Step 5

In the "Start" menu, select "Control Panel" and in the window that opens, click on the icon that says "Add or Remove Programs". In the list that appears, find the required utility, select it and click the "Change / Remove" or "Remove" button.

Step 6

You will see a confirmation window for the current operation "Do you really want to delete?". Answer yes to continue. Upon completion of uninstalling the program, it is advisable to restart the computer and repeat the installation of this utility.
