If for any reason you deleted or formatted a hard disk partition, then you need to return the data stored on it. This can be done using several utilities.

- - Easy Recovery;
- - Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.
Instructions
Step 1
First, download and install Acronis Disk Director Suite. Better to use the tenth and eleventh versions. Restart your computer after installing this application. Run the Acronis Disk Director utility.
Step 2
Find the "View" tab located in the main menu of the program and open it. Check the box next to Manual Mode. Examine the graphical representations of local drives. Find the unallocated area and right-click on it.
Step 3
Go to the "Advanced" menu and select "Recovery". After a new window "Recovery Mode" opens, highlight the "Manual" option and click the "Next" button. A new "Search Method" window will open. Select the "Full" option and click the "Next" button.
Step 4
Wait until the search for pre-existing hard disk partitions is completed. Highlight the one you recently deleted. Better to navigate by the size of the section. Click "Next". Now, instead of the unallocated area, the disk partition being restored will be displayed.
Step 5
Open the "Operations" tab and click on the "Execute" item. In the new "Pending Operations" window, check the correctness of the previously specified recovery options. If everything is correct, then click the "Proceed" button. Wait for the partition recovery process to complete. Click the "OK" button in the window that appears.
Step 6
Now install the Easy Recovery Pro program. Use it to recover files that were lost as a result of deleting and restoring a partition. Please note that text files and documents are very difficult to recover. Focus on other types of data that are important to you. If using Easy Recovery, select Recovery Deleted Files. This will provide a better search for the affected information.
