Step 1
Before proceeding directly to the process, you should disconnect the wires from the drive and pull it out of the case of the system unit. To do this, you will have to unscrew the four self-tapping screws located on both sides of the mounting space for 5, 25”devices.
Step 2
There is a small hole on the front panel. If you insert a needle there, the tray pops out, after which you can dismantle the front panel. It is secured with three plastic latches, which should be gently bent by pressing lightly with a screwdriver or fingers. Be careful as they break easily.
Step 3
Next, remove the tray itself. There are four screws on the underside that need to be unscrewed and the metal cover removed. The gaze will see the carriage along which the laser head moves, and the mechanism for moving the tray in the longitudinal and vertical directions.
Step 4
In order to remove the remaining components, it is necessary to disconnect the power and data cables from them. This is done very simply, just loosen the plastic fastener at the end of the wire.
Step 5
To disassemble the gearbox, you must first remove the belt from the pulleys, then unscrew the screws and remove the mounting plate. Gears and cogwheels are now available to you for replacement in case of damage.
Step 6
The assembly of the drive is carried out in the reverse order. It should be remembered that most of the details are small and easy to lose.
