You can check the integrity of small video files using normal viewing through a media player. But if you need to check a large number of files, special video processing programs will come to the rescue.

Instructions
Step 1
After copying videos from the Internet, not every user checks them completely before burning them to disc. Many people look at only a few fragments, believing that the file is well recorded. But when watching on a DVD player, there are glitches, out of sync, etc. This situation can be avoided only after checking the integrity of the files.
Step 2
VirtualDub is free software. You can copy the distribution from the following link https://virtualdub.sourceforge.net. Click one of the links on this page. In the dialog box that opens, select the "Save file" option and specify the folder to save.
Step 3
Installation of this program is not required. Run the executable file with the.exe extension. To open the file you want to check, click the File top menu and select Open. In the window that appears, specify the path to the file and press the Enter key.
Step 4
After downloading the file, go to the Video menu in the program window and click on Scan video stream for errors or Error mode. After analyzing the file, you will know the integrity of the file.
Step 5
A simpler utility can be downloaded from the following link https://divfix.maxeline.com/divfix.html. On the loaded page, click on the Download button. The volume of this program does not exceed 500 Kb. Unlike VirtualDub, this program must be installed following the prompts of the application installation wizard. Its main purpose is to check and reproduce "incomplete" or files with internal errors.
Step 6
Checking video files is carried out in two clicks. First, you need to add all video clips to the empty field on the left side of the program. Secondly, left-click on the Check Errors element. After a while, a report on the presence or absence of errors will appear on the screen.
