The graphics editor Photoshop offers its fans not only a rich selection of creative tools, but also the ability to create new tools. Dynamic brushes in Photoshop allow you to quickly paint the background and entire layers, for example, the starry sky, rain or snowfall.
To create a dynamic brush, you can use a pre-made brush from the set that Photoshop offers. On the toolbar, select the Brush Tool ("Brush") and press the F5 key to bring up the Brush Properties window. Click on the Brush Tip Shape item to choose the shape and size of the brush from the set Photoshop offers you. Here you can make the line that the brush draws continuous or discrete. To do this, you need to set the size of the interval Spacing: the larger the interval, the further the strokes will be from each other. Here you can change the angle of inclination of the stroke vertically and horizontally by checking the FlipX or FlipY boxes and setting the Angle value.
In the Shape Dynamics window, you can specify the interval within which the stroke size (the Minimum Diameter parameter) and the angle of rotation of the brush (Angle Jitter) will change. It is difficult, for example, to imagine leaf fall when all the leaves fall at attention. To depict the swirling leaves in the wind, you need to set the angle of rotation of the brush. The larger it is, the more the position of the leaves will differ relative to the coordinate axis.
In the Color Dynamics window, you can set the range of the brush color change. To do this, set the foreground and background colors on the toolbar, other than black and white. Here you can also set the boundaries in which the saturation and brightness of color shades (Hue, Saturation, Brightness) will change.
The Other Dynamics window controls the opacity and pressure changes of the brush: Opacity Jitter and Flow Jitter. If you want to apply texture to a brush drawing, check the box next to Texture, select the drawing and set the blending method, intensity and other parameters. The Scatering window sets the level of scattering of strokes. Using the rich properties of the Properties window, you can successfully create dynamic brushes for any artistic purpose.
