Only yesterday you worked on it, and today you turn on the computer, it hangs on the start screen for a long time and does not load. Or it automatically resets and tries to boot again. The Windows 7 operating system provides an easy way to restore boot files.

Instructions
Step 1
Everything can be fixed using the OS boot disk. Insert the Windows 7 operating system disc into the drive and restart the computer. If the BIOS parameters do not specify that the first boot device is the drive, enter the BIOS and change the appropriate settings in the boot section.
Step 2
After restarting your computer, you may be prompted to start from disc - Press any key to boot from CD or DVD. Press any key on the keyboard to confirm. You need to wait a while for the operating system to download the necessary files.
Step 3
A Windows 7 window will appear on the screen with the central inscription "Install". Do not rush to click on this inscription, look for the line "System Restore" at the bottom of the window. Click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 4
The system will prompt you to select a recovery tool: Startup Repair, System Restore, System Image Restore, Windows Memory Diagnostics, and Command Prompt. You need the first item, so click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 5
System files will be diagnosed and lost files will be restored. You will not see this with your own eyes - the developers did not consider it necessary to visualize this process. You will need to wait for a while until the program prompts you to restart your computer. Do this and check the result of your work.
Step 6
Most often, boot files "disappear" due to a lack of user experience with a computer or improper installation or removal of programs. It is also common for the boot sectors to get corrupted due to a hard disk failure (for example, a sudden power outage or power surge).
