Sound Forge is one of the popular audio editors. This application is a commercial one and activation will be required after its first launch. There are several options for its implementation.
Instructions
Step 1
When you run the program for the first time, you will see a window informing you about the need to register the product for each user. After reviewing the information, click Next. In the next window, you will be asked to select one of the items: work with a trial version or enter a serial number. Select the second option and enter the number in the corresponding field. After that, click the "Next" button.
Step 2
The next window will appear, in which you need to select one of the options for further registration. The first option is to register online. The second is to register using another computer.
Step 3
If your computer has Internet access, choose online registration. In the next window, fill in the fields by entering valid information in them. First name, last name, email, and country fields are in bold. Enter the appropriate values. The fields regarding address, company, postal code are optional - you can fill them in as you wish.
Step 4
In the same window below you will see two items. If you would like to receive the latest information about Sony Creative Software products, please tick the box next to the first item. Then click on the Privacy Policy link. Read the information that appears. If you agree to the presented terms, check the box next to the second item. After that click on the "Finish" button. A connection will be made to the server, as a result of which the program will be activated.
Step 5
If your computer does not have access to the Internet, select register using another computer. Read the information that appears in the next window and click "Next" again. In the next window, fill in your information, read the Privacy Policy, check the appropriate boxes and click the "Next" button.
Step 6
Select a location on your computer to save the registration html file. Click the Save button. Copy the file to a computer with internet access. On this computer, double-click the file and click the Submit button. An activation code will be sent to the email address specified in the file. On a PC running Sound Forge, click the "Next" button and enter the received activation code in the corresponding window. Click on the "Finish" button.
