Step 1
Provide overhead information at the top of the sheet. This usually includes the name of the organization or company on behalf of which the publication is being published, as well as the series and issue number of the book, if numbering is maintained. You can indicate any information that you want to see in the electronic document. Try not to shorten the names, and everywhere put punctuation marks correctly, so that in the future it is clear what exactly is written about.
Step 2
Provide title information for the book. They include the surname and initials (or surname and first name) of the author, as well as the title of the book. This information is the most important, and therefore stands out: usually a fairly large font is used, sometimes stylized. This is necessary to highlight the author and title on the title page.
Step 3
Provide subheading information. In this section, a so-called "subtitle" is usually written, if the book has one, which explains the meaning of the title of the work. Also, there may be information about the book compiler or translator, issue or series number.
Step 4
The title page of a book may contain images, a brand or logo of the publication or the publisher itself. The title page can also be placed on two pages - that is, on a full spread of the book. There are no strict design criteria for fiction, unlike scientific or educational literature.
