Every computer has a hardware code. Sometimes, when registering certain programs, you need to enter it, otherwise you simply will not be able to register the program you need or activate the antivirus. It may also be needed when registering a specific component computer.

Step 1
You can find out the hardware code of your computer using the FriendlySeats program. You need to find it on the Internet and download it. When downloading, you must take into account the version of your operating system, as well as its bit depth. The program is paid, but there is a free trial version.
Step 2
After downloading, install the program. Then restart your computer. After restarting your PC, launch FriendlySeats. Then select "Settings" in its main menu. A window will appear. At the top, on the right side of it, there will be information about the hardware code of your computer.
Step 3
Another program that will help you find out the code of your computer is called Winaudit. Find it on the Internet, download and install it on your computer hard drive. Run the program. Further in its main menu select "System overview". Basic information about your system will appear in the right window. In this window, find the string Number. The value that will be written in it is the code of your computer.
Step 4
A pretty good program with which you can quickly find out the computer code is called System Information for Windows. Find this application on the Internet specifically for your version of the operating system and download it. Unpack the archive to any folder. Most versions of the program do not require installation.
Step 5
Run the program. Wait a few seconds for the scan of your system to finish. After its completion, in the right window of the program there will be basic information about your computer. In this window, you should look for the hardware code of the computer. If necessary, you can save a report containing information about your system. In trivial versions of this program, the function of saving reports can be disabled.
