To quickly restore the operating system or an entire disk partition, special images are used. The use of this technology saves a lot of time.

Instructions
Step 1
The main advantage of system image recovery is that there is no need to re-search and install programs. All installed applications and even their parameters will be included in the system image. If you have used Windows tools to create an archive, insert the Windows disk into the drive.
Step 2
Restart your computer and run the program from the specified drive. To enable the desired device to boot, use the BIOS menu or press the F8 key immediately after turning on the PC.
Step 3
Follow the prompts on the installation menu until the "Advanced recovery options" item appears. Open the indicated dialog menu and go to the "System Restore" function.
Step 4
Find the sub-item "Image Recovery". Now connect to the computer the external drive that contains the system archive. If the image is located on one of the partitions of the currently used hard drive, specify the required local disk.
Step 5
Click the "Restore" button and wait for the procedure to complete. It is important to understand that while the program is running, the system partition of the disk will be overwritten. This means that all programs installed after the imaging will be removed.
Step 6
If the system archive was created using Acronis True Image, use the boot disk of the described utility. In the start menu, select the "Recover data" item.
Step 7
Click "Next". Select the system image to restore. If several files were created during the archive creation process, select the first one. This will allow the program to automatically switch between files to access the files it needs.
Step 8
Select the local drive to which the system restore will be performed. It should be noted that for this it is absolutely not necessary to use the partition on which the OS is currently installed. Click the Get Started button. Wait for your computer to restart.
