Outwardly, a laptop is a single device that contains all the components of a modern computer. It seems to be very difficult to parse it, but it is not. The manufacturers have taken care of the user experience, and the main replaceable components of the laptop, such as hard drive, drive and memory, are located in accessible places.

Step 1
Turn off the laptop, close the lid with the screen and turn it over with the lid down. Carefully inspect the bottom panel of the laptop: the manufacturer places tips in the form of icons or special stickers that indicate which bolts can be removed and why. It is also worth noting that a special instruction could come with a laptop, which describes the main solutions to the problems.
Step 2
Find the location of the drive - this is easily done by the drive panel on the side of the laptop. Locate the screws that hold the drive to the laptop case. Take a very small Phillips screwdriver and carefully remove the screws. If the screwdriver does not fit, get another one, as you need to carefully unscrew everything so as not to damage the insides.
Step 3
Do not break out the screws if they do not give way. Most likely they had to be twisted in a certain order. Some screws are not completely removed. Place the screws on the table so that they cannot be brushed off and lost. Remove the drive by gently pulling on the front of the device. Install the new drive and tighten the screws in their places. Please note that only a drive of the same model is ideal. Similar drives with the same connector may simply not fit into the case or protrude from the front.
Step 4
Do not forget that opening the laptop case yourself may void your warranty period. Before any action, it is better to call the service center and clarify this issue. If you have a warranty, and it is still valid, immediately take the laptop to the service center, where they will take all the steps to fix the device. Also, before that, prepare all the documents for the guarantee.
