Deleted files in the Windows operating system are not immediately destroyed, but are placed in a special folder named "Recycle Bin". Recovering accidentally deleted files can be performed both with standard system tools and with the help of specialized third-party programs.
Instructions
Step 1
Open the "Recycle Bin" desktop item by double-clicking to restore accidentally deleted files and select the file to be restored. Call the context menu of the selected element by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Restore" command. Another way to perform the same operation can be the use of the special "Restore object" button in the upper service panel of the application window.
Step 2
Please note that the restored object will be placed in the same folder and directory from which it was deleted. Use another Windows method to restore the contents of the Recycle Bin. To do this, call the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button? and enter the value "system restore" in the text box of the search bar. Confirm the scan by clicking the "Find" button and authorize the procedure by entering your administrator password in the appropriate field of the system request window that opens.
Step 3
Repeat this action in the additional confirmation line of the same window and follow all the recommendations of the "Recovery Wizard" utility to select and use a system restore point. Remember that after using the "Empty Trash" command, file recovery becomes impossible without the use of special programs.
Step 4
Download and install on your computer a specialized utility Recover My Files, designed to recover more than three hundred types of file formats accidentally deleted from your computer or formatted for some reason. A feature of this program is the option to recover files deleted by viruses or malicious applications. The program is intuitive and does not require complex configuration. It is possible to recover both files of the local hard drive and the contents of the removable media recycle bin.
