Step 1
Begin the process of optimizing your operating system by disabling unused components. If you are sure of the reliability of the installed antivirus program, disable the built-in protection system. Open Control Panel and select the "System and Security" menu.

Open the Windows Firewall submenu. Proceed to Turn Firewall On or Off. Select a security setting for all types of available networks. Click the Ok button.
