It is important for a beginner photographer to understand that three things lie at the heart of a good photo - light, light and light again. No matter how great your model looks, if you cannot correctly set the lighting or choose the lighting conditions for shooting, it will be difficult to get an interesting and expressive picture. Here are some tips for taking a good photo portrait.
Necessary
- - good makeup for the model;
- - compact powder;
- - good lighting;
- - Photoshop CS.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the model is ready to shoot. Make sure the makeup artist removes the natural oily sheen from the subject's face. Have some powder with you to touch up your model's makeup when needed. If you do everything so that the glitter is not in the picture until the moment of shooting, you will not have to suffer and remove this unpleasant effect using computer programs. Use soft, diffused lighting.
Step 2
Use Photoshop CS to remove oily sheen from photos. To do this, load the snapshot into the program. Apply the Blur filter to the entire shot, select the Brush tool in the History tab (to the left of the name of the selected Blur effect). Switch to the original file in the History tab.
Step 3
Choose the desired opacity for the brush and a suitable diameter. Set the brush to Darken mode. Brush with these settings over the places where the glitter is visible on the face. You will see that the skin in these areas will take on a matte tone and the shine will disappear.
Step 4
Use the second, easier way to remove glitter from the face with Photoshop CS. Upload the photo to the program. Select the eyedropper tool. In the photo, "click" it next to the area where there is shine. Thus, you can choose the color with which you will paint over the defect.
Step 5
Select the brush tool. Set the settings - the brush should be soft, set the opacity to about 30%, the diameter should be adjusted according to the size of the shiny spot. Set the brush to the "dark" mode. "Paint over" the shiny spots in the photo, adjusting the diameter of the brush in accordance with the selected area in the photo.
Step 6
The third way is to use the patch tool. Select the "shiny area" you want to remove with this tool. "Move" it with the mouse to the place with which you will replace the shiny area, remove the selection by pressing CTRL + D. The Shiny Spot is automatically replaced with the area you selected.
