If you have a photo with a uniform tone and want to turn it into a brand and beautiful image, or maybe use a photo of the person in the photo for an original collage or advertisement, the background should be removed from the photo. This is not so difficult if you own Adobe Photoshop - in this program, you can remove the background of an image in several ways. The easiest way to extract a photo from a photo is if the background is light and uniform enough.
Instructions
Step 1
Load the desired photo in Photoshop, and then use the Eraser Tool to remove unnecessary objects from the photo that break the uniformity of the background - for example, text labels. Erase all the labels, then click the Ctrl + M keyboard shortcut to open the curve editing window.
Step 2
Alternatively, you can open the Image menu and select Adjustments -> Curves. Select the light eyedropper from the drop-down menu and click on the foreground of your background. Then open the curves window again and adjust the overall color rendition of the photo, if necessary.
Step 3
Select one of the channels in the Curves window and correct the colors for the best result. Correct each channel in this way, and then click OK. If the picture is not sharp enough, open the Filter menu section and select Sharpen -> Smart harpen.
Step 4
You now have a beautiful edited photo with a clean white background on your screen. As you can see, getting such a background is not at all difficult and for this you do not have to cut out the photo, paste it on a separate layer and delete the previous background.
Step 5
While this method only works with a solid background, it is extremely effective and can easily turn any photo into a stylish and brand-new image.
Step 6
By adding various Photoshop effects to a photo, you can achieve not only a light background, but also a certain style of the picture, as well as retouch it.
