Step 1
Select and purchase a Wi-Fi router. This device will provide synchronous Internet access to a number of stationary computers and laptops.

Connect the computer or laptop with the firmware file to the Ethernet (LAN) port of the router. Launch your browser. Open your router manual. Find its IP address. Find out the username and password that you need to enter to gain access to the router's settings.

Enter the IP address of the equipment into the address bar of the browser. Fill in the Login and Password fields. The web-based interface of the router settings will be displayed on the screen.

Find the Main Interface menu and open it. Find the submenu containing the software version information. Click the Browse button and specify the path to the firmware file.
Step 6
Wait for the router software version update operation to complete. Reboot the device to apply the settings.
Step 7
Repeat the algorithm for logging into the equipment web interface. Open the Internet Setup menu. Change the settings of this menu, guided by the recommendations of the specialists of your provider. This is necessary to ensure access to the Internet. Save the settings.
Step 8
Open the Wi-Fi menu (Wireless Setup). Create a wireless access point with characteristics that meet the requirements of your wireless devices. Save the settings. Reboot the router again to apply the final configuration changes.
