Instructions

Step 1

In the Microsoft Office Word application, the developers have provided the "Insert" tab. To add an object to the text, go to it and position the mouse cursor in the place where you plan to place the object. Select the object that suits you on the toolbar: inscription, picture, table, shape, and so on.

Step 2

After the object is added to the text, left-click on it. Focus on outer contours, as complex objects can be composed of several elements, and it is important to capture all of them. Move the cursor to one of the corners of the designated selection box and wait until it looks like crossed double-headed arrows. Press the left mouse button and, while holding it, move the object to the desired place in the document, and then release the left mouse button.

Step 3

If you need to move an object in a graphics editor, for example, in Adobe Photoshop, select the appropriate tool (rectangular selection, lasso, and so on) from the panel or from the "Selection" menu. Trace the object while holding down the left mouse button. Next, make the Move tool active, position the cursor over the selection, press the left mouse button and drag the object to the desired location.

Step 4

In an application for working with three-dimensional models, for example, Milkshape 3D, it is also necessary to first select the desired object. Open the Model tab and select the Select command, circle the object you want to highlight with color. Alternatively, open the Groups tab and double-click the required group with the left mouse button.

Step 5

On the Model tab, make the Move tool active, move the cursor to the selection, press the left mouse button and, without releasing it, move the object to the side you need using a suitable projection window. Release the mouse button to complete the process of moving the object.
