You've looked through the documentation that came with your sound card, tried to find software for adjusting the settings, but you still haven't figured out how to check the sound quality on your computer. Try using the services and features available in Windows.
Instructions
Step 1
When you are sure that the speakers are properly connected to the network and the computer, adjust the audio volume. Make sure you haven't turned it off, not only on the speakers, but also on the soundbar.
Step 2
If you don't see the dedicated sound control icon in the notification area on the taskbar, click the Start button or the Windows key. Expand all programs, in the "Standard" folder, select the "Entertainment" section and the "Volume" item. Remove the marker from the "Off" field in the "Sound" group or from the "Off. all”in the“General”group. Close the window.
Step 3
From the Start menu, open the Control Panel. In the Sound, Speech & Audio Devices category, click the Sounds & Audio Devices icon. A new dialog box will open. Moving through the Sound, Volume, Audio, and so on tabs, use the Setup and Test buttons to test the sound quality and set the options you want. Save any changes made if necessary.
Step 4
Click the "Start" button and select the "Run" command. In the empty field, enter dxdiag without spaces or other extra characters. Click OK or press Enter. The "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" starts.
Step 5
Wait while the application collects all the necessary information about the computer. Go to the Sound tab and click on the DirectSound Test button in the DirectX Capabilities group. When the test starts, the tool will play various sounds, and you will have to select one of the options for answering the question if you heard the sound.
Step 6
Alternatively, you can go to the Music tab and click on the DirectMusic Test button in the DirectX Features group. In the "Test using port" field, select the port you want to test with the left mouse button. When finished checking, close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool by clicking the Exit button.
