Step 1
To clean your computer of viruses, first go to the website of the manufacturer of your antivirus software. Look for updates for your program there and install them.
Step 2
Run the antivirus again and try scanning your system to detect and remove the virus.
Step 3
If the antivirus could not cope with the removal of the malicious program (but was able to detect it), search the Internet for information about the new virus and how to deal with it.
Step 4
Download and download any "antidotes" and programs designed to treat your virus. Or try to find and remove the virus manually.
Step 5
After the virus is removed, try scanning the system again with another antivirus software to make sure 100% that all the sores have really left your computer.
