A good antivirus program will always detect files that pose a threat to your computer. Moreover, these files are not always malicious. If they are important to you, and the antivirus has deleted the data, then you can try to get them back. A special program will restore deleted information.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - Internet connection.
Instructions
Step 1
Find and download a program for recovering deleted files on the Internet. Such a program is, for example, MiniTool Power Data Recovery. When working with it, there are no difficulties, since the utility will help you recover the missing data step by step.
Step 2
Run the installation of the downloaded program. Select the save location - local drive C, check the box "Display the program shortcut on the desktop" and click "OK". Then follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the installation of the program. You can install this utility in a short time.
Step 3
Run the shortcut that appears on the desktop. The program window opens. Find a folder called Undelete Recovery. Click on the Next button. A new window should open. Select a hard drive or several drives from which the antivirus has deleted the data you need. MiniTool Power Data Recovery can also recover information from Flash drives.
Step 4
Click on the button named Recover. You will have to wait while the program finds the deleted files on the selected drives. This can take up to 1-2 hours if the disk has a large capacity. If the program finds the necessary data, you will see a list of them in the window that appears.
Step 5
Check the files you want to recover, or click on the topmost checkbox if you want to select all files. Click on the Save Files button. Select the location where the program should save the recovered files, and wait a little while the wizard does its work. After successful completion of such a procedure, you will be able to find the desired data in the specified save location.
