Sometimes it happens that files that have been deleted from the recycle bin long ago become necessary again. You can recover lost data on a Windows computer using special programs.

Instructions
Step 1
Search the Internet and install on your computer one of the applications for recovering files deleted from the recycle bin. Such applications are easy to find by searching for "programs for recovering deleted files". Install, for example, UnErase. This app has a free trial period.
Step 2
Run the UnErase application. In the working window select the disk partition from which the lost file was deleted to the trash can. At the top of the window, find and run the Search for deleted files command. The process of searching for deleted files is activated. Please note that the search speed is in direct proportion to the size and capacity of your hard drive. You can follow the progress of the program by the gradually filling process indicator.
Step 3
Examine the list of detected deleted files, which should appear in the central window of the application when the search is complete. Find the name of the required file and right-click on it. In the menu that appears, click on the Restore item. An additional window will open.
Step 4
In the top line of the window that appears, click the browse button and select the folder where you want to recover the lost file. After that, click on the Next button at the bottom of the window. The file will be restored to the specified folder.
Step 5
If you know at least part of the name of the lost file, you can make your search easier by choosing Advanced search from the UnErase menu. Specify in the File name line the name of the file you are looking for. You can additionally fill in the item with the date of file deletion. This will speed up the search process. Click on the New search button. A list of files with the specified parameters will appear in the central window of the program. Further recovery of the file is exactly the same as the procedure described earlier.
