It is difficult now to find someone who has never tried to play computer games. Over the course of several decades, this entertainment has grown from the salons of primitive slot machines into a huge industry with impressive budgets. And in most games, you can get various prizes and awards for successful completion. That is why, sometimes you want to take a picture of what is happening in order to show your friends the trophy you have received, or explain to them how to get it.

Instructions
Step 1
Taking a screenshot, or as this process is often called - taking a screenshot, is quite simple. Go to a computer game, and at the time you need, press the "PrintScreen" (or "PrtScr") button on the keyboard.
Step 2
After that, close the game, or exit it. In the "start" menu, select "all programs", then "standard" and run the Paint program.
Step 3
Make sure that the program window is active, and then press the "Ctrl + V" key combination. This will paste the captured screenshot from the clipboard into Paint.
Step 4
It remains only to correct what you want, and in the "File" menu select the "Save As" field. Here give the resulting picture any name you like. Now choose the image format you want to save it in. It is best to choose "JPEG", as it takes up less space (without too much loss of quality), and it will be easier for you to transfer it to your friends over the Internet.
Step 5
Fraps can be used as an alternative to taking screenshots. It is specially designed for capturing video of what is happening on the screen and taking screenshots. Once installed, select the "Screenshots" tab. In the "Screen Capture Hotkey" field, select the button on the keyboard with which you want to take pictures in games (by default "F10").
Step 6
In the "Folder to save screenshots in" field, you can select the folder where the captured materials will be saved. By clicking the "Change" button you can change it.
