You can visually appreciate the convenience and beauty of the Vista operating system style without abandoning the already installed Windows XP. To do this, use themes or special packages, including desktop wallpapers, icon sets, loading screen, and much more, allowing you to completely recreate the look of Vista.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install on your computer the specialized Windows Blinds application designed to change the visual style of Windows XP. Please note that this application can act as a stand-alone object or as a component of the Object Desktop set. Use Vista 2.4 or Arrow skin, which is completely Vista style.
Step 2
Launch the Windows Blinds application and select a wallpaper that matches the Windows Vista theme, while using the built-in tool to change this item. There are no Vista-specific wallpapers, so use your own taste.
Step 3
Take advantage of the ability to install boot screen skins suitable for Vista style (for example Real Vista or Vista Ultimate Boot) and run the Windows Blinds LogonStudio package component for further transformation. Load the welcome screen you want (for example Simple Vista or Vista Reaction) and make it more similar to the desired style.
Step 4
Use the WindowsBlinds IconPackager component with the appropriate icon pack to further customize the Windows XP interface (such as Apogee Icon Suite or Aero IconPackage) and create your own sidebar using the DektopX component. Add the desired widgets (window view) to match the Vista style perfectly.
Step 5
Use specialized packages for changing the graphical interface of Windows XP in Vista: - VistaMizer; - Vista Style Pack; - Vista Transformation Pack - These kits include everything you need to completely transform the look of XP in Vista and make the customization process a lot easier. The result of all the above actions is the visual impossibility of determining the installed version of the operating system.
Step 6
A simpler, but no less effective, way to change the system interface is to use the Style XP program. Most Vista style themes are freely available on the Internet and can be downloaded for free.
