At least compared to such operations as, for example, combining data from several arrays according to calculated criteria - this can also be such an advanced table editor.

Step 1
If the value in each cell in a column needs to be multiplied by the same number, use a combination of copy and one of the special paste options. To do this, you need to put the multiplier number in the auxiliary cell - select any free one and enter the desired value into it. Then copy that cell of the spreadsheet.
Step 2
Select the desired range of cells in the column to be multiplied. In the "Clipboard" group of commands on the "Home" tab, open the "Paste" drop-down list and select "Paste Special". In the window with the list of options, find the line "Multiply" in the "Operation" section - put a checkmark next to it. Click OK and the values of all selected cells in the column will increase by the specified number of times. After that, delete the auxiliary cell with the multiplier.
Step 3
If the multiplier values for each row in the original column should be different, write them down in the cells of the auxiliary column. Select and copy the multiplier range, and then repeat all the operations of the second step. You also need to act when multiplying the values of the cells of one column by the values of another, already existing column, but you do not have to create, fill in and delete an auxiliary column.
Step 4
It is often necessary to keep the values of the original column intact, and display the result of the multiplication in another column of the table. In this case, the rows of the multiplication results column must be filled in with simple formulas. Start with the first cell - click on it with the mouse and enter an equal sign. Specify the address of the first cell to be multiplied by clicking and clicking on it. Then enter an asterisk - a multiplication sign.
Step 5
You need to make a choice: if you want to use the same multiplier for all rows, enter it, but if you need to multiply the cells of one row by the corresponding cells of another, click the desired cell with the multiplier. After that press Enter and the result of the multiplication will be displayed in the cell with the formula.
Step 6
Move the mouse pointer over the lower right corner of the cell you just filled and drag the black dot downward, thus selecting the number of rows equal to the height of the multiplied column. This will copy the formula to the entire result column and the operation is complete.
