Numerous anti-virus programs are designed to protect the user from attempts to hack into his computer. Depending on the settings, they can destroy suspicious files immediately or send them to "quarantine". Instructions
Step 1
Open the Kaspersky Anti-Virus program and find the Computer Protection tab. On this tab, you need to find the radioactive threat icon. This is how Kaspersky defines access to the quarantine, which by default contains suspicious files with exe permission. or bin. However, the program allows you to quarantine files with almost any resolution. By clicking on the icon, open the "Protection" or "Protection status" tab (the name varies depending on the version of Kaspersky software).
Step 2
Click on "Detected threats", then go to "Quarantine". Now find and activate the "Quarantine" mode. A new window should appear in which you need to select the suspicious file and click "Open". The selected file will be immediately moved to the quarantine zone.
Step 3
Do not create folders with any names in the antivirus quarantine zone. The program works according to a specific algorithm that excludes any user activity with potentially dangerous files. Therefore, the created folders are not saved, and the files that were supposedly moved to them in order to isolate them from the rest of the system, in fact, remain in place. This means that the threat of infection remains active.
